Community Health Nursing

About

The Department of Community Health Nursing focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, and the care of individuals, families, and communities. Our comprehensive curriculum prepares nurses to address public health challenges, implement community-based interventions, and work with diverse populations. Students gain experience in various community settings including schools, clinics, and homes.

Mission

To educate and empower nursing students to become skilled community health practitioners who can effectively address health disparities, promote wellness, and improve population health outcomes through evidence-based interventions and community engagement.
